PARISH NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS

  • Nov. 15 – 17 at Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center. Scholarship support available. Register here.
  • St. Francis Day, Oct. 6th: On St. Francis Day, you may bring your patient pets, stuffed animals and/or pet pictures to receive a blessing from Rev. Rachael. Cats, dogs, ferrets– come one and come all to church!
  • Bishop Visit, Oct. 20th: Join us as we welcome Bishop Alan Gates, who will visit our parish to have a conversation with all parishioners during Coffee Hour.
  • Christmas Party, Dec. 1st: From 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, join the festive celebration at Church of Our Saviour. This day is different than last year’s COS Christmas Party, so be sure to save the date.

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS TOWARDS RACIAL JUSTICE NEWS

  • Sat, Oct. 5th, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at First Parish in Milton. This is a day of story telling and creative engagement led by artist, activist, and musician Soyinka Rahim. A morning session is offered from 10:00 AM – noon, followed by lunch, then a noon session of 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. RSVP here.
  • Mon, Oct. 14th, 9:30 AM – 11:30 PM at First Parish in Milton. There will be a volunteer project of the Blessing Bags. RSVP here.
  • Mon, Nov. 4th, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, at First Presbyterian (270 Franklin St, Quincy, MA 02169). Save the date!

COMMUNITY EVENTS

  • On Thurs, Oct. 3rd, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM, join Milton Change Makers in their fundraiser event: Protest and Change through Music, Story, and Song. There will be food, drink, a raffle, entertainment, and more. This event is located at the Milton Arts Center (334 Edge Hill Road, Milton, MA 02186.) For more information, contact kdghoran@gmail.com
  • Fun, games, and community– Celebrate Milton will be held Sun, Oct. 6th, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. We are looking for volunteers to join us at the Church of Our Saviour table and showcase our faith community. Contact Rachael or J. if you would like to volunteer.
