The Reverend Rachael Pettengill-Rasure

Rector

The Reverend Rachael Pettengill-Rasure is our Rector at Church of Our Saviour. She joined the congregation in July 2014. She was ordained to the Transitional Deaconate in June 2014 and to the Priesthood in January 2015. She is a graduate of Alliance Theological Seminary and Episcopal Divinity School. She previously served as a Life Together Intern at Grace Episcopal Church in Medford, and as the Protestant Chaplain at Tufts University. Rachael lives in Milton with her husband, the Reverend Matthew Rasure, who is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Medford. Rachael and Matt are the parents of John (“Jack”) and Magdalena (“Maggie”). Rachael loves to cook and to host dinner parties with her family, and to spend time working in her garden. Rachael is passionate about creating a space in the church for people to deepen their spiritual lives together and about empowering the community to share the love of Christ in the world. Rachael can be reached at rachael@cos-milton.org.

Jeremiah Cossa

Musician

Jeremiah was born in Northern California but spent the early years of his life in Swaziland, Africa, where he began playing piano at age 6. He and his family moved to Lake Elsinore, California when he was 11 and he continued playing through middle and high school, before going on to attend Azusa Pacific University for a BM in Piano Performance. While there, Jeremiah diversified and expanded his skill set through a wide range of work and performing opportunites including playing for APU’s Men’s Chorale and Gospel Choir for two years each, accompanying instrumentalists and singers, playing in musical theater productions, and expanding his repertoire of Classical music with an emphasis on contemporary and underrepresented music. Jeremiah served as church musician for a year at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Pomona. In 2015, Jeremiah moved to Boston to attend The Boston Conservatory for an MM in Piano Performance. Since graduating, Jeremiah remains active in the Boston arts scene as a soloist, chamber musician, jazz pianist, and improviser.

Olivia Stanley

Life Together Fellow

Olivia Stanley (she/her) was born and raised in Glasgow, Kentucky. She recently graduated from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee where she majored in Psychology and minored in Religious Studies. At Sewanee she was very involved with the Episcopal Church and the Office of Civic Engagement which made her consider being a deacon or priest. Adele Dennis, a friend that is an alumni of both Sewanee and Episcopal Service Corps, encouraged Olivia to apply to Life Together to explore that calling deeper.

Roger Serratore

Sexton

I have been the Sexton at Church of Our Savior and have the pleasure of maintaining the grounds and buildings since early 2015. It has been my ongoing goal to keep them safe and welcoming. A playground has been added well as an area to sit and reflect. Come visit us!

Mary Ann Badejo
